We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information when you use dnballstars.london.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal data:

  • First name and last name
  • Email address
  • Phone number (including country dialling code)
  • Communications consent preferences

b) Information collected automatically when you visit this website

  • IP address (used to derive approximate location: city, region, country)

d) Derived and predicted data

Our marketing platform (Klaviyo) may generate predicted data based on your activity, including engagement scores, predicted next order date, expected lifetime value, and churn risk. These predictions are used solely to tailor the timing and relevance of our communications to you.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal data on the following legal bases:

  • Consent - for marketing communications via Email, SMS, and WhatsApp, and for advertising cookies and tracking pixels.
  • Legitimate interest - for website analytics, fraud prevention, audience segmentation, and promoting similar DnB Allstars events (including events co-promoted or operated by DNBA Entertainment Ltd under other brands). You have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest at any time.
  • Contractual necessity - for processing ticket purchases and delivering event-related transactional communications.
  • Legal obligation - where we are required to retain data for tax, accounting, or regulatory purposes.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information to:

  • Process ticket purchases and presale registrations
  • Send presale access links, ticket drop notifications, lineup announcements, and event updates via Email, SMS, and WhatsApp
  • Build custom and lookalike audiences on advertising platforms (Meta/Facebook, Instagram) to promote our events
  • Improve our website and services
  • Comply with legal obligations

We will only send you marketing messages via Email, SMS, and WhatsApp if you have given explicit consent by ticking the consent checkbox on our signup form. Each message will include instructions on how to opt out.

5. WhatsApp & SMS Communications

By consenting to receive WhatsApp and SMS messages, you agree to receive transactional and marketing messages from DnB Allstars to the phone number you provided. Messages may include presale access links, event reminders, lineup announcements, and promotional content. Message frequency varies. Standard messaging rates may apply.

You can opt out of WhatsApp messages at any time by replying STOP, or by contacting us at privacy@dnballstars.com. You can opt out of SMS by replying STOP to any SMS message.

6. Data Sharing & Processors

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We share your data with the following trusted service providers who act as data processors on our behalf:

  • Klaviyo, Inc. (Boston, USA) - email marketing, SMS delivery, WhatsApp messaging, website activity tracking, audience segmentation, and predictive analytics. Klaviyo processes your contact details, engagement data, website browsing activity, and device information. Data is transferred to the US under Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
  • Meta Platforms, Inc. - WhatsApp Business messaging, advertising custom audiences, and lookalike audiences via the Conversions API and pixel.
  • Google LLC - website analytics (Google Analytics) and advertising conversion tracking.
  • Vercel, Inc. (USA) - website hosting and content delivery.
  • FIXR Ltd (UK) - ticket sales and payment processing. FIXR operates as an independent data controller for ticket transactions.
  • Seeka/Converge - first-party event tracking and conversion attribution across advertising platforms.

Where data is transferred outside the UK or EU/EEA, appropriate safeguards are in place, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and, where applicable, supplementary measures. You may request a copy of relevant transfer safeguards by contacting privacy@dnballstars.com.

7. Advertising Audiences

We may upload hashed versions of your email address or phone number to advertising platforms (such as Meta) to create custom audiences for event promotion or to build lookalike audiences. This data is encrypted during transfer and matched against existing platform users. You can opt out by contacting us at privacy@dnballstars.com.

8. Cookies & Analytics

This website uses cookies and similar technologies to analyse website traffic, personalise content, and serve targeted advertising. The following cookies and tracking technologies are in use:

  • Klaviyo tracking - identifies returning visitors and links website activity to your email profile (e.g. pages viewed, time on site). Used to personalise email content and send behaviour-triggered messages.
  • Seeka/Converge - first-party tracking that captures conversion events (e.g. signups, ticket purchases) and forwards them server-side to Meta, Google, and TikTok for advertising attribution.
  • Meta Pixel - tracks website activity for advertising measurement and retargeting on Facebook and Instagram.
  • Google Analytics - collects anonymised website usage statistics including page views, session duration, and traffic sources.

You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may limit certain website functionality. Note that server-side tracking (Seeka/Converge) operates independently of browser cookies.

9. Related Events & Cross-Promotion

DNBA Entertainment Ltd operates and co-promotes multiple events under the DnB Allstars brand and related brands (including SYLO and other DnB Allstars shows worldwide). Where you have signed up for one event operated by DNBA Entertainment Ltd, we may contact you about similar events under the UK soft opt-in exemption (PECR Regulation 22), provided you have not opted out. Every such communication will include an easy way to unsubscribe.

10. Your Rights

Under GDPR (EU) and UK GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, or delete your personal data. You may also object to processing, restrict processing, or request data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@dnballstars.com. We will respond within 30 days.

11. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected. Presale registration data is retained for the duration of the event campaign and up to 12 months after the event for follow-up communications, unless you opt out or request deletion sooner.

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
